I’m so happy you’re here.

I’m Amber Sotro, a Christian birth doula, childbirth educator, and breastfeeding specialist serving Orange County, California and surrounding areas. But more than that, I’m a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a bold woman of faith.

Finding my life’s purpose as a doula was truly a calling from God and I am forever changed because of it. There is nothing more sacred than witnessing a new soul enter the world. It’s the closest we come to heaven on earth. I am wholeheartedly committed to gently guiding those peaceful beginnings with strength, grace, and love.

I’ve always been pulled towards a natural, holistic lifestyle, and my own home births only deepened that passion. With the help of an incredible birth team, my journey to becoming a mom helped me to understand why autonomy and trust is so important during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Birth Doula Support

As your birth doula, I provide unwavering, heartfelt support from pregnancy through those first early days postpartum. Together, we’ll prepare your mind, body, and spirit for a birth that feels intuitively led and truly empowering.

What you’ll receive:

  • 2 Private, in-person prenatal visits

  • 24/7 on-call support beginning at 38 weeks

  • Continuous, hands-on comfort measures during labor 

  • Partner support and guidance 

  • Birth plan preparation reflecting your values

  • Referrals to trusted specialists or resources

  • Birth photos to capture those first, sacred moments 

  • One Postpartum visit to check in on you, provide emotional support, assist with breastfeeding, discuss recovery, process the birth experience

  • Nourishing postpartum meal and/or snack to support your healing and provide comfort

Postpartum Doula Support & Newborn Care

The postpartum period, or the fourth trimester, is a sacred season of gentle healing and deep bonding. These tender moments after birth shape your new family and are just as important as the birth itself. They often say that a postpartum doula “mothers the mother.” That’s exactly how I will support you - supporting your healing and nurturing you to confidently step into this beautiful new chapter with your newborn.

  • Attentive and gentle newborn care assistance so you can rest and recharge

  • Breastfeeding support and recommendations to help you nourish your baby

  • Emotional encouragement and personalized support

  • Your choice of daytime or evening postpartum doula support 

Virtual Birth Planning Consultation

Searching for professional guidance without leaving the comfort of your couch? Join me for a one-hour virtual consultation, where we’ll talk through your personal hopes, questions, and birth options. After our call, you’ll receive a thoughtfully written birth plan tailored just for you.

This service is perfect for mamas outside Orange County or the Inland Empire area - or anyone looking for customized support from afar.

From Overwhelmed to Empowered

Every birth is unique, but the support you receive should always feel intentional, personal, and unwavering. Here’s what to expect when we begin this journey together:

  • Feeling like I might be the right doula for you?  Simply fill out my contact form to start the conversation.

  • Once I receive your inquiry, I’ll send over a warm welcome to schedule your free 30–45 minute consultation call. This is our chance to get to know one another, talk through your hopes and questions, and see if we’re a good match.

  • If we both feel a “yes,” I’ll send over the client agreement and payment info. Once completed, your spot on my calendar will be reserved, and we’ll be official!

  • From pregnancy through postpartum, birth to breastfeeding, I’ll be by your side the entire time, offering guidance, encouragement, resources, and real-time support.

  • That’s okay. Truly. You don’t need to have it all figured out. We’ll walk through your options together and talk about what feels right for you. My role during this sacred transformation isn’t to make decisions for you, but to help you feel confident making your own.
